ICPD 25 celebrations/1st Anniversary
The National Treasury and Planning Cabinet Secretary Hon. Ambassador Ukur Yattani today lead celebrations in marking the 1st anniversary of Nairobi Summit on ICPD25.
In November 2019, the Government of Kenya, in conjunction with the Danish Government and The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) hosted the Nairobi Summit on ICPD25; centered on implementing the ICPD Programme of Action centered on Population issues.
Kenya made 17 commitments to advance the goals of the ICPD Plan of Action in broad areas including sexual and reproductive health, demographic diversity, universal education and gender equity, integration of population issues in policies and plans, data for decision making and, financing for population programmes. The NCPD was mandated by the President of the Republic of Kenya H.E Uhuru Kenyatta to track and monitor the implementation of these commitments.

The Nairobi Summit on ICPD25 Kenya Country Report
The ICPD25 Action Plan for implementation of Kenya Country Commitments and, The 2019/2020 Annual Report on the implementation of Kenya Country Commitments.
