Mr. Henry K. Rotich is currently the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury in Kenya. He assumed the position in May 2013 following the successful general election under the new Constitutional dispensation. In this portfolio, Mr. Rotich is charged with managing Kenya’s national government finances, including spearheading an efficient and sustainable public financial management under a new devolved system of governance, which is fundamental for promoting equitable socio-economic development and efficient delivery of services to Kenyans. Principal Secretary Dr Kamau Thugge, CBS
Dr. Kamau Thugge is currently the Principal Secretary at the National Treasury. He has previously worked in the Ministry of Finance as head of Fiscal and Monetary Affairs Department, Economic Secretary and as Senior Economic Advisor.
Before joining the Ministry of Finance, he worked with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as Economist, Senior Economist and Deputy Division Chief.

Principal Administrative Secretary - Mr Mutua Kilaka, CBS,SS
Mr. Kilaka is a career civil servant since 1977, having worked in most regions in the country in the provincial administration and in the central government. In 2005 he was appointed Financial Secretary at the Ministry of Finance and is currently the Prinicipal Administrative Secretary.

Dr. Geoffrey N. Mwau, EBS
Dr. Mwau, EBS graduated from McGill University in Canada with a Ph.D in economics in 1994.
He worked as a Senior Advisor to the Executive Director representing Kenya and 21 other African countries at the Executive Board of World Bank.
Prior to joining the World Bank, he was a Senior Regional Advisor on Economic Policy Analysis with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Previously, Dr. Mwau also worked for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as an economist for Rwanda, Malawi, Botswana, and Uganda.

Mrs. Koimett is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from the University of Nairobi. She has held various senior positions in Government and the Parastatal sector, including being the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism. She is currently the Director General Public Investment and Portfolio Management, National Treasury.

Mr Wohoro holds an Applied Economics Bachelors and an MBA from Australian Universities – Canberra and the Australian Graduate School of Management respectively.
He has worked in analytical and management roles in the Australian Bureau of Statistics; the State Treasury of New South Wales; and, led important PFM and debt management initiatives in Kenya such as the development of Kenya’s County Budget Operations Manual and operationalizing a Fiscal Commitments and Contingent Liability (FCCL) framework for PPPs in Kenya among others.
